General Patton will be playing his third Pink Moon Festival
this year. He is from Newport News, Virginia and has been dj-ing for over 12
years and has been playing music since he was 11.
He plays because music is the
ultimate release for him. Many people and artists inspire him but he is
inspired most by his parents. In choosing his stage name, the obvious was Patton
because it is his last name and also because the famous General Patton was his
grandfather’s cousin. General Patton’s favorite thing about performing is
“bringing people together and making them dance.”
For musical goals, he would
like to improve upon marketing himself as a musician and is looking forward to
“life in general.” The next move for General Patton is to transition to a
career that will allow him to focus more time and finances on his music hobby.
