IMPULSE Music & Arts Festival will be held June 15-17, 2012, at the Durhamtown Plantation Resort in Union Point, Georgia. Rock Camp Productions is excited to be bringing our special brand of festival experience to you for IMPULSE this year! We don't want to give away all of the surprises we have in store for IMPULSE attendees...but what we can tell you is we are developing a totally unique and new installation and performance specifically for IMPULSE, and it is going to be out of this world!!! DJ RahBee, Crazyredbeard and photographer August Heisler are joining our crew to help blow your minds.
IMPULSE is brought to you by the fantastically talented folks over at Whateverz Klever. The line-up is incredible...including Papadosio, Boombox, EOTO, Zoogma, Archnemesis, Emancipator, Minnesota, NastyNasty, The Polish Ambassador, and so many more!
The stellar line-up is not the only thing worth the anticipation though. IMPULSE promises more mind-blowing art installations than you can count, from a large variety of artists and companies (including RCP) ! They promise breath-taking light shows, including lasers and 3D mapping, as well as a special "Saddle Span" tent from Area 51 Productions.
IMPULSE also has a number of wild activities planned, if you're brave and daring enough to take an adventure. They are offering guided ATV tours as well as an amateur Sasquatch hunt through the seven thousand acres of Durhamtown's thick forest. There will also be a motorcross stunt show, as well as road bike and BMX freestyle shows.
Another plus to this Georgia fest, is it offers wooded camping with fires. IMPULSE implies there will be performances, installations, decor and more popping up throughout the two-hundred acre campground throughout the weekend.
There are only a few rules...as with every festival or large gathering of people. No glass, no tanks, no illegal activities of any kind...you know the deal! Be good, be careful, and this is sure to be a great weekend!
Make sure you catch a couple of performances by Rock Camp Productions, with DJ RahBee and Crazyredbeard!! We'll be performing at our installation site and throughout the venue all weekend! Puff T. Magic-Dragon and friends will be around, so be prepared for some good, old fashioned, festie fun in addition to our new and exciting surprises!
