Festival Feature: Rootwire Music & Arts Festival 2012

Rootwire Music & Arts Festival 2012 is to be held August 16-19, in the forests of Logan, Ohio. Rootwire bosts an incredible line-up spread across 3 stages, including 3 nights of Papadosio, Ott, Dopapapod, Snarky Puppy, as well as Rock Camp Productions resident DJ, DJ RahBee and so many more!

In addition to their impressive line-up Rootwire boasts half a dozen major art installations as well as half a dozen performance art troupes from the "Nations greatest visionary masters" (including Rock Camp Productions). Artists include the Daredevil Circus, The Flow Fairies, Nocturnal Arts, Amazing Giants, Fabric of the Universe, Sol Purpose, Freaky Beat Visuals, Vision Lab, Tribal Council, The Bunk News Arts Collective and many more! The fest will also feature guided meditations, ceremonies, forums, film viewings, and so much more! RCP is thrilled to be bringing Puff T. Magic-Dragon, Dr. Molly and Siddhartha Glo to this magical fest!
Not only can you enjoy and observe the eclectic arts present at Rootwire, you can learn to create and expand your mind through various workshops and a number of seminars from an impressive list of speakers! Also, center yourself every morning with yoga practice every day as well as a "whole slew of specialized classes throughout the festival"!
Rootwire is "simply an environment designed from the ground up to inspire and enlighten, created entirely by those in attendance. It is an attempt to re instill the values of the original psychedelic movement, to transform society. Also, to banish the pitfalls of todays modern music festivals, which are funded by corporations, and designed solely for profit."
