Galaxy Dynamite will be performing their third Pink Moon
Festival this year. The band consists of Mike, Baker and Sam and they have been
together for a little more than three years.
The named developed from a
fighting move used by a character in a videogame based on a Japanese anime
cartoon called “Dragon Ball Z.” Mike’s college roommate suggested that would be
a good band name and they decided to use it a year later. They are most proud
of their song “This Should Happen Again” and also “Nothing Says Beach Like a
Highway.”
Galaxy Dynamite is playing two nights at Pink Moon Festival V and
will also be performing three Phish after-parties in Hampton. If you are not
able to catch their first set then you will have the opportunity to see their
second, be sure not to miss out!
