Pink Moon Festival first-timers Serotones had their
beginnings in the summer of 2011 with a few line-up changes since then. The
band consists of Nate Oakes, Christopher Oakes, Tyler Carnahan, and Zac
Magalis. Each member has been playing music for ten years or more.
The name
came about from Christopher, “It’s a play on words with the chemical in your
body, serotonin, popularly thought to be a contributor to feelings of
well-being and happiness.” They are looking forward to one day quitting their
jobs and playing music full-time. Up next for the Serotones is recording an EP
and touring.
